With her soft, fluffy ears that look like they belong on a little Furby doll and her fun, sweet personality, she's basically a walking bundle of happiness. She has that playful, spunky side that makes life more fun, paired perfectly with a gentle, affectionate nature that just wants to be close to her people. Moonpie is little, lovable, and full of charm. She's the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something sweeter just by being there. Moonpie is believed to be a cattle dog mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 34 lbs.

Moonpie would do best in a home without cats, as she finds them a little too interesting.
Ongoing Health
Moonpie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, and a heartworm test and treatment if needed. She also has a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Moonpie is a smart, treat-motivated girl who already knows some basic commands like "sit." She walks well on a leash and is crate and potty trained. Her quiet nature and great house manners make her an ideal companion for those who work from home. She's also eager for adventure and happy to explore as long as she's with her person.

Transportation
Moonpie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
