Janus is a handsome Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix whose name couldn't be more fitting. In mythology, Janus is the god of beginnings. This blond boy with peppered black and brown fur is searching for exactly that: a fresh start, a new chapter, a forever home where he can finally exhale and belong. At 39 pounds, Janus could stand to enjoy a biscuit or two to fill out his frame, but his solid black nose and deep chocolate brown eyes already make him striking. He's a little unsure at first, taking in the world with quiet curiosity, but beneath that hesitation is a dog ready to step through the doorway into his new life with tail wagging, heart open.
