Meet Dafne Doo, a 66 lb Siberian Husky with an estimated birthday of 12/15/23. This beautiful girl, with striking blue eyes, is ready for a second chance at a life filled with love and joy. True to her Husky nature, Dafne expresses her affection through happy "talks" and the most wonderful hugs. She was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy dog.
Ideal Home
Dafne would thrive in an active home that enjoys daily walks, and perhaps even occasional trips to the beach or mountains. Anywhere you go, she wants to be with you! Her love for swimming is undeniable – she's an Olympic-level doggy paddler! While she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially puppies, and is great with kids of all ages, she would also love a family where she can be the center of attention and shower you with all her love. If you're familiar with the Husky breed, you'll be impressed by her calm, gentle, and sweet nature. Her tri-coloring, with a gorgeous brown undercoat beneath the black, is even more stunning in person than in photos.

Transporation
Dafne is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can be to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information. Please be prepared to utilize one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog during transport.
