Sadie

Sadie is a 45-lb snuggle missile disguised as a boxer mix, about 2 years old. She once had a family, but sadly, she was surrendered to a shelter, then reclaimed, and then ended up back there again, pregnant. Sadie bravely gave birth and raised her puppies in the shelter system, watching each of them find their forever homes. Now, it's her turn to find a loving family to call her own. Sadie has absolutely no understanding of personal space and will gladly become one with your torso at any given moment. She's the perfect middle ground dog – playful when you want it and chill when you don't. She'll sprint three laps in the yard and then fully commit to being a weighted blanket. Sadie has done everything right: she survived being let down, raised her babies, and waited patiently. She just needs someone who won't leave.

Ideal Home

Sadie loves kids and has done well with confident male dogs her size or larger. She is housetrained and crate-trained and is fine being left alone during a normal workday.

Sadie is spayed and vaccinated.
