Meet Jack! This handsome, approximately 5-year-old pup has a heart full of love to give and is ready to find his forever family. While his past is a bit of a mystery, Jack is incredibly eager to form a strong, loving bond. He's a smart cookie who enjoys his daily walks and gets super excited about puzzle toys! Jack can be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a moment to warm up, and his playful, silly personality will truly shine through.
Ideal Home
Jack is looking for a patient and understanding home. He thrives with a more homebody lifestyle or with someone who is around frequently, as he can experience separation anxiety. Due to his tendency to be an escape artist and a bit unsure on certain flooring, a secure home with a privacy fence is strongly recommended. For his comfort and safety, a home without young children is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Jack is currently on Prozac to help manage his separation anxiety, which has been a positive part of his journey. All animals from Shelter to Home are fully vetted, including being spayed/neutered, tested, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care.
Training & Support
Jack is working on building his confidence, especially around new environments and surfaces like hardwood or tile floors. He's also making progress with proper introductions to other dogs, with guidance from a trainer. Continued patience, consistency, and confidence-building will be key to Jack's continued success.
