Teddy Roo is the sweetest, most handsome, and devoted companion you'll ever meet! This Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born on 11/1/23, weighs 53 lbs. He's a true teddy bear looking for a forever snuggle buddy. Teddy Roo loves cuddles and kisses, and if he can't be in your lap, he'll be softly hugging you! He's known for his gentle spirit and sweet puppy eyes. Teddy has been a hit at adoption events, soaking up all the attention and soliciting hugs and kisses with a charming paw-up gesture that will melt your heart. He's been very gentle and patient with children at these events. Teddy Roo was rescued from a county shelter facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being healthy and full of life. He arrived with scars and wounds, a testament to a difficult past, yet he remains soft, lovable, and a true survivor.

Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog.
- Listed breed is based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
- We have a strong adoption process, backed by reviews from previous adopters. Check out our reviews on Google and Facebook.
