Romeo George

Meet Romeo George, a sweet 5-year-old Maltese weighing just 9 pounds. Romeo is a special boy who came into rescue when his original owner could no longer care for him. After some difficult life changes, he found his way to us, and he's now looking for a patient and understanding adopter to show him the ropes.

Romeo can be a little shy and wary around new people and situations, but once he gets to know you, he forms an incredibly strong and devoted bond. He tends to bond more quickly with women but can certainly learn to trust men with patience and space. He loves to spend time outdoors, go for walks, and soak up the sunshine. He's also cat-friendly and can get along well with some dogs, particularly those of a similar size and temperament.

Ideal Home

Romeo would thrive in a home without children. He needs an adopter who has experience with or a deep understanding of dogs who need extra time to feel safe and secure. For the safety of our small breed dogs, we will not place them in homes with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

Romeo is up-to-date on vaccines and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Romeo can be wary of strangers and needs time to build trust. With patience and understanding, he will become a loyal and loving companion.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check, and final contract.
• The adoption fee is $400, which includes vaccines, microchip, and spay/neuter.
• Once your application is approved, we will set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on their needs.

Transporation

Romeo is currently located with Camo Rescue. We are happy to discuss transport options once an application is approved.
