Steve

Steve was discovered outside the local shelter, abandoned in a laundry basket filled with trash. He was nothing but skin and bones. Security footage revealed a pick-up truck that stopped, and three men who left him there in the early morning hours. Given his severe condition, humane euthanasia was initially considered. However, Steve rallied, seemingly sensing the care from the shelter staff, and raised his head, a clear sign he wanted to live.

Steve has been examined by a veterinarian and is suffering from extreme malnourishment and neglect. He is significantly underweight, and his toenails were so long they were curling into his paw pads. He has a challenging recovery ahead, but he's getting stronger every day. Check back for updates on his journey.

Steve is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue to recover and build his confidence.

Steve is currently recovering from severe malnourishment and neglect. He is receiving ongoing veterinary care to help him regain his strength and health.

Training & Support

Steve will need continued support and positive reinforcement as he adjusts to his new home. Patience and understanding will be key to his successful reintegration.
