Meet Meka, a gentle and loving hound-mastiff mix who is just shy of 5 years old. Meka is a true sweetheart, always ready to brighten your day with his affectionate nature. He loves to snuggle up beside you and melt your heart with his puppy-dog eyes, especially when a treat is involved. Meka is incredibly friendly and eager to meet new people, spreading happiness wherever he goes. He's also food-motivated and eager to please, making him a great candidate for fun training sessions and tasty rewards! Meka is looking for a forever home where he can shower his humans with love. While he would be overjoyed to be adopted with his sister, Kalena, his greatest wish is simply to find a loving place to call his own.

Ongoing Health
Meka is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Meka is food-motivated and eager to please, which will be a great asset in continued training. We have provided socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and have worked on leash training and basic commands. As with any rescue, continued training and understanding will help him be the best companion he can be.

Transportation
Meka is currently located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport is provided via comfortable, air-conditioned buses with dedicated care for the animals. You'll be able to follow along on his journey via a private Facebook Event page, with opportunities to connect with other adopters and receive updates. Your adoption coordinator will help you find the closest transport pickup location.
