He gets along great with other dogs and cats, and would likely do well with respectful children. Scooter can be a bit shy with new people initially, but once he feels comfortable, he reveals his sweet and loving nature. He's highly motivated by treats, making him a joy to train, and he pays close attention when you work with him, eagerly anticipating rewards. He already knows "sit" and "shake," and he excels at enrichment activities. Scooter thrives on affection, soaking up all the love and returning it with snuggles and kisses. He's about 90% potty trained and continues to improve daily. He's also comfortable sleeping in his kennel overnight and sometimes uses it for naps. Scooter came from an unstable environment, so he's on a journey to build his confidence, and activities like outings, enrichment, and socialization are fantastic ways to support him. He needs a patient, loving, and encouraging adopter to guide him.
