A little about them
Boomer is a high-energy, dog-friendly and cat-friendly boy currently in boarding and looking for a foster or forever home. He enjoys doggie daycare and needs stability, structure, companionship, patience, and consistency to thrive.
He experiences separation anxiety and needs a home willing to continue working with him. Once settled, he has done well being left outside of a kennel when food and trash are kept safely out of reach. Boomer is not recommended for a home with young children because he can become reactive when excited or protective and has nipped at children before, though he has never broken skin.
Ideal Home
Boomer would do best in a calmer home that understands his boundaries and can provide a fenced yard, preferably with a privacy fence. He is dog friendly and cat friendly, but is not recommended for homes with young children.
Ongoing Health
Boomer is otherwise healthy with no known medical concerns.
Training & Support
Boomer needs continued support with separation anxiety and a patient, consistent environment. Once comfortable, he has been able to stay outside of a kennel when food and trash are kept safely out of reach.
