Sandy Rosie is a delightful 9-year-old poodle mix, weighing under 14 lbs, who is looking for her forever home! This sweet girl is a true cuddle bug who loves to hug you and rest her head on your shoulder when picked up. She's a happy and affectionate companion who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. Sandy Rosie is a wonderful patient, making her daily medical regimen a breeze for her loving caregivers.
Ideal Home
Sandy Rosie would be a fantastic addition to an apartment, condo, or townhouse, as she does her best business on walks. A single-family home would also be suitable. She would do great with a single person, couple, or family, especially if someone works from home or is retired. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Sandy Rosie is on a medical maintenance plan. She requires one drop of cyclosporine in each eye twice daily for her eyes. She takes enalapril twice a day in her meals to regulate blood pressure, which is currently causing protein in her urine. To help with discoloration on her paws and hind end due to licking, she receives Tylan powder twice a day. This also seems to help her allergies, which are further managed by a vegetarian diet. She needs her ears cleaned and medicated weekly, and a bath every one to two weeks helps her skin and allergies. These health needs are manageable, and the estimated monthly cost is less than $100. She is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on heartworm preventative.

Sandy Rosie is house-trained and prefers to do her business on walks. She is described as a good patient, making her care routine easy.
