Spike here! I'm a handsome, smart, and silly goofball who's just grateful to be alive and looking for my forever family. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in West Texas and have been getting my heartworm treatment and enjoying life with my new friends. Now, my biggest dream is to find a loving family to call my own! I'm a Husky, so I'm very active and need a family who understands the breed's needs – especially when it comes to being an escape artist and shedding! I'm good with other dogs, but I am a dominant boy, so I'd do best as an only dog or with a more submissive canine companion. I'd love to escape the Texas heat and find a cooler climate where I can truly thrive!
