Sable

Meet Sable! Sable is a beautiful 2-year-old, medium-sized Husky/Heeler mix. She was rescued from the streets while pregnant, along with her young pups. After being an amazing mom, she has now fully blossomed into a loving, playful companion! This girl loves the country and wide-open spaces. She’s great with other dogs who respect her boundaries and enjoys socializing, but she also loves cuddling and napping beside her person after a long day of fun. Sable is not a working or guarding dog—she’s just a country girl who enjoys life outdoors and cozy snuggles indoors.

Ideal Home

Sable would do best with someone who works from home or has flexible hours, and in a house with a yard where she can run and play safely. She’s not suited for apartment living due to her love of open spaces. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard.

Sable is crate trained and potty trained. She loves cuddles and attention.

• Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run.
• We select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
