Holliday is an approximately 2-year-old Border Collie mix with an abundance of affection and a playful spirit. He's a delightful mix of goofy charm and devoted companion, always ready to offer "tippy-taps" of excitement and dreams of becoming a lap dog. He's smart, responsive to guidance, and eager to learn what a cozy home life entails.
Ideal Home
Holliday would thrive in a home with a yard where he can safely explore and build his leash skills. He would do best in a home with older children who can handle his enthusiastic greetings without being knocked over. He would also do well with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs that can help him learn to play.
Ongoing Health
Holliday is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Holliday is working on leash manners, as he tends to pull when excited, especially around other dogs. He's also learning to manage his excitement when greeting people, and can sometimes be a bit jumpy. His food motivation makes him very responsive to training and gentle when taking treats.

Adopters in Canada can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
