Nola

Meet Nola, a beautiful and resilient Bluetick Coonhound born in January 2023. Nola's journey began on the beaches of Bucerias, where she bravely navigated her days, sustained by the kindness of strangers. As she grew weaker, our dedicated volunteers searched tirelessly until they found her. She arrived underweight and anemic, battling Ehrlichia and TVT, a treatable cancer. After receiving antibiotics, vaccines, and a full course of chemotherapy, this courageous girl is now healthy, healed, and more than ready to find her loving forever home. Nola is great on a leash and adores her walks. She is a sweet, resilient soul who shows immense gratitude for affection. As is typical of her breed, Nola has a distinct Coonhound voice and will bay and howl.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
