Nyx

Nyx is a 2-year-old, 65lb German Shepherd mix who arrived at the shelter as a stray. She's still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. Initially, Nyx can be quite skittish and needs time to warm up to new people and surroundings. However, once she feels comfortable and secure, her sweet and goofy personality truly begins to shine! She enjoys playing keep-away and shows more of her playful side each day.

Nyx would thrive in a patient home that understands she needs to move at her own pace. A family that will give her the time and space to build her confidence will help her blossom into a loving companion.

Nyx is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. No specific health conditions were noted in her intake.

Training & Support

Nyx is house-trained. She has shown excellent manners around other dogs, even those who are reactive, remaining calm and unbothered. She also ignored kittens, demonstrating good self-control. With kindness and understanding, Nyx has all the potential to become a wonderful addition to a home.
