BAXTER!

Baxter is a sweet 14-year-old Beagle mix who came to us from a difficult situation. He was surrendered to a shelter at 14 years old, overweight, and with terribly long nails. Sadly, he was scheduled to be euthanized. Thankfully, Baxter was saved by a wonderful foster who has helped him completely decompress and embrace a new lease on life! He's had his nails trimmed, discovered the joy of cuddling, and is even enjoying short walks that are getting longer each day. Baxter is a neutered male, up-to-date on vaccines, and truly a great pup. He absolutely loves to cuddle, go for walks, ride in his stroller, and relax on the couch with his people – sometimes right on top of them! He doesn't bark and is just an all-around wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Baxter would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy his newfound love for walks and cuddles. He enjoys the company of cats and children under 8, but we are unsure about interactions with older children.

Ongoing Health

Baxter is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He was surrendered as an overweight senior dog, but with his foster's care and his new walking routine, he is on a great path to a healthier lifestyle.

Training & Support

Baxter has learned to enjoy walks and cuddling. He is a quiet dog who doesn't bark.
