Appa

Meet Appa, a fun-loving, affectionate dog with a huge personality, goofy smile, and endless love for his people. At 4 years old, he is always ready for an adventure or a cuddle session.

Appa adores other dogs and has done wonderfully with cats. He loves playing, running, wrestling, fetching, and curling up with his canine friends. He is highly intelligent, eager to learn, and very trainable. Appa knows how to go to his crate, responds well to “leave it,” and thrives with guidance and structure.

He is an active dog who would enjoy walks, runs, outdoor adventures, fetch, and mental enrichment. Without enough activity, he may find his own entertainment. Appa is also talkative and would do best with a family comfortable with a dog who has a lot to say.

Ideal Home

• An active family ready to include Appa in daily adventures
• A home that can provide structure, guidance, exercise, and mental enrichment
• Appa currently lives with children and has done well with younger children, but he has also experienced an unexplained challenge with one child. Families with children should be prepared to discuss his history and plan a thoughtful introduction and transition.

Training & Support

Appa is highly intelligent and eager to learn. He knows how to go to his crate, responds well to “leave it,” and learns new routines and commands quickly.
