Elmo

Elmo is a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a truly inspiring spirit. He came to us after an injury, but the bullet near his spine has become encapsulated and specialists believe it's best to leave it as is. The wonderful news is that this doesn't hold Elmo back! He's a healthy, happy boy who enjoys his walks, his people, and his furry friends. He's great with other dogs, loves people, and particularly appreciates a comfy bed for some serious relaxation. While he hasn't lived with cats, he showed mild interest, so a dog-savvy feline might be okay.

Ideal Home

Elmo would do best in a home that understands he doesn't need to be an extreme athlete. He'd love a family with children over 10 or sturdy kids who can understand his medical history. He'll thrive in a home that values companionship over adventure sports.

Ongoing Health

Elmo has a bullet lodged near his spine that has become encapsulated. Specialists recommend leaving it as is, as removal would be too risky. He is otherwise healthy and expected to live a long, happy life.

Training & Support

Elmo is still young and will grow into a large dog, so guidance on respecting personal space will be important. He's a resilient and calm boy who trusts easily.

Transporation
