This cutie is Sake Sushi! He is approximately 6 weeks old and weighs about 2 pounds. We believe Sake may be a German Shepherd/Husky mix, but with rescue, it's always a guess! What truly matters is that he's absolutely adorable and is one of the most desperate puppies in the US. Shelters in his original area are facing euthanasia for puppies, so Sake needs you! By choosing Sake, you're not only saving his life but also making space to save another puppy.
Sake is the perfect blend of playful and snuggly! He was raised in a foster home with other dogs, so he's well-socialized and learning all about being a wonderful companion. He loves to chase and wrestle with his siblings during playtime but is just as happy curling up in your lap for cuddles afterward. Sweet, affectionate, and full of puppy charm, this little fluffball is sure to bring joy wherever he goes! Ideal Home
Sake is still very young and will need a family that can commit to the training, socialization, and all the dedication that puppyhood requires. A puppy's personality is shaped by new experiences every day, so a consistent routine, structure, clear boundaries, and proper socialization are key from the very beginning.
Ongoing Health
Sake is a healthy puppy, up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.
Training & Support
We require a commitment from adoptive families to begin crate training immediately upon Sake's arrival home. This will greatly assist with potty training, managing his energy, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog.

Transportation
Sake is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Pets travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
