Honey Comb is a cuddly, loving 6-year-old terrier mix weighing 68 lbs. She is the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, always happy to be curled up by your side, resting her head on your lap or nuzzling into your neck for cuddles. She's affectionate and loves to be loved, but she's also independent and content to entertain herself with a chew toy or puzzle game. Honey Comb is a natural work-from-home companion, her calm nature won't distract you. When it's time for fun, she's always ready for a happy bounce, zoomies in the yard, neighborhood walks, or car rides. She greets everyone with a big smile, a wagging tail, and her signature stop, drop, and roll move to ask for belly rubs. Honey Comb has excellent manners, is smart, and learns household routines quickly. She is respectful around food and a joy to live with.
Ideal Home
Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She needs a securely fenced-in backyard for playing fetch and sunbathing. A quieter suburban or rural area would be ideal for her love of nature trails and hikes, rather than a busy city. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she shines brightest when she can soak up all the love and attention from her humans. A feline-free home is recommended. She would love to have human siblings who can share in her affection and playtime.

Honey Comb is fully potty trained and kennel trained.
Training & Support
Honey Comb is leash trained and shows perfect leash-walking manners on quiet nature trails. She is not destructive and can be trusted when left alone. She will communicate when she needs to potty by tapping at the door. She is happy to sleep in a kennel but would love to sleep with her forever family in bed or on a dog bed next to the bed.

- All age-appropriate vaccinations, spay procedure, microchip, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, health certificate from a licensed veterinarian, plus any necessary vet care while in our care are included.
Transportation
Honey Comb is in a foster home in Austin, TX. We have monthly transports available. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. We do not bring dogs for meet-and-greets prior to transport.
