Meet Dolce! This approximately one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is bursting with squishy, smiley goodness and is ready to find her forever home. She’s spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, and possesses a perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back companionship. Dolce has soulful eyes and a wiggly excitement that will surely steal your heart.
Dolce enjoys a good play session, especially with dogs her own size. She can play hard with zoomies and tug-of-war but is also great at taking breaks and respecting other dogs' cues. After an hour of play, she's happy to relax and lounge. She meets new dogs off-leash in secure, supervised areas with a sweet and relaxed demeanor. Her energy matches her environment; she's ready for playtime or movie night snuggles. Dolce hasn't been exposed to cats up close but will announce their presence if she sees them through a window. While she hasn't spent much time around children, her gentle nature suggests she would do well with older, dog-savvy kids.
Dolce walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, though she will watch for squirrels and patrol fences. She rides well in the car, has no reported separation anxiety or potty issues, and has not displayed destructive behavior when left alone. She is not currently crated and enjoys her freedom responsibly. Dolce is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and enjoys some alone time. She hasn't shown resource guarding with her current foster siblings, but separate feeding bowls are always a good idea in a new home. She can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may initially be shy. Slow, calm introductions are key, but once she feels safe, she is loyal, loving, and an eager adventure buddy.
Ideal Home
Dolce would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for her to play in. She doesn't require constant high-intensity activity to be happy and would do well with a canine sibling or as an only pet, as she appreciates both playtime and downtime.

Dolce is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
