Zander

Hi there! I'm Zander, a handsome 4-year-old fellow weighing in around 65 lbs. I've been patiently waiting for my forever home for over two years now, and I'm really hoping you're the one I've been dreaming of! I came to the shelter as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I promise my future will be filled with love and loyalty. I'm a pretty good guy once I get to know you. I enjoy car rides, get along well with other dogs, and have a soft spot for kids. I'll be upfront – sometimes it takes me a little while to warm up to new men, but with a bit of patience and understanding, you'll see just how wonderful I am. I just like to take things at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable, I truly want nothing more than to be by your side, going on adventures, relaxing together, and finally having a place to call my own.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding home where I can take my time to warm up. I've done well with other dogs and kids, so a family environment could be great!

I'm neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and ride nicely in the car. While I'm generally a good boy, I can take a little time to build trust with some men, so continued positive reinforcement and patience will help me feel secure.
