Nira is a thoughtful heart and a chase queen! This sweet girl is currently enjoying life in a loving foster home, where she's proven to be a fun addition to the family. She's house and crate trained and has seamlessly integrated with the resident dogs and kids. Nira can be a little shy when first meeting new people, preferring to observe before diving into full affection. But once she feels safe and secure, she reveals her genuinely loving and playful nature. She's not one to rush in; patience and calm introductions are key.
Ideal Home
Nira would thrive in a home with a yard, another dog for companionship, and adopters who are patient, consistent, and respectful of her need for space. She is not suited for apartment or city living and is happiest as a homebody. While she loves kids (she's lived with 11 and 13-year-olds and adores them), she must be in a cat-free home, as her playful chase instincts are not reciprocated by felines.

Training & Support
Nira is wonderfully dog-oriented and her confidence blossoms with canine company. She enjoys chase-style play and would do well with a medium-energy, goofy dog friend. She's also happy to entertain herself with her favorite toys, especially stuffies. Treats are a great motivator for Nira, helping her build confidence and comfort.

Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
