Ellen

Ellen is a fantastic, fun, and wide-open little dog who's super happy and loves to be in the room with all the activity and action. She's a snuggly puppy who sleeps under the covers and is always close by on the couch, trying to be the number one dog. Ellen is a constant companion and brings lots of life to any room she's in. She plays well with other dogs, is house-trained, and is funny! As much as she loves people and wants to be with her people, she doesn't love being picked up and isn't too interested in pets from strangers. She is highly food-motivated, and with treats and patience, she's making great progress.

Ideal Home

Ellen will be good in a house with a yard and lots of walks. She is good with other dogs. She will not be good with kids in the house. She will still be a flight risk, but will come back when she gets to know the area.

Ongoing Health

All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. The adoption fee covers spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.

Training & Support

Ellen is still learning to be comfortable with new people and will need a longer period to get used to them. She is highly food-motivated, which is a great asset for training.
