Brownie

Brownie is a 2-year-old female German Shepherd mix who currently weighs 75 pounds. She's fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and eager to find her forever family! Brownie is a sweet, loyal, and loving dog who enjoys playing in the backyard and chasing squirrels. She's also a big fan of belly rubs and will happily roll over for some extra affection. Brownie is house-trained and crate-trained, doing well when left alone in her crate. She also loves car rides and is a favorite at doggie daycare, where she plays wonderfully with other dogs her size. Brownie is protective of her home and will alert you to visitors, but she's been trained to go to her "place" and allow guests inside. She's learned several commands, walks well on a leash, and with a little more training, could be an excellent running partner. Brownie has a lot of love to give and is ready to share it with her new family!

Ideal Home

A home without cats is a must. Due to her size, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and older.

Ongoing Health

Brownie is up to date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Brownie is fully potty trained and crate trained. She is protective of her home and will alert to strangers, but she is excellent at going to her "place" and allowing guests to enter the home. She walks well on a leash and could make a great running companion with further training.

Brownie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once an adopter is lined up.
