Mortimer Octavius

Mortimer Octavius is a handsome adult male Carolina Dog, weighing in as large. He has made incredible progress since his seizure from a hoarding situation 18 months ago, blossoming under the care of his devoted foster mom. Morty has learned to sparkle and shine, discovering the joys of being a dog, including making friends with other dogs, receiving pets, and mastering potty training. He now rings a bell to signal when he needs to go outside, and he eagerly initiates play with other dogs, adapting to their various play styles. He loves to snuggle on the couch with his foster mom and curls up by her bed each night. His favorite things include squeaky toys, balls, treat balls, and snuffle mats. He also enjoys kibble/yogurt ice cubes, frozen berries, pumpkin, zucchini, carrots, and oranges. Morty is a testament to the power of a second chance and is ready to find his forever family.

Mortimer is a large, male Carolina Dog. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is considered to have special needs due to his past, but has overcome many challenges.

Mortimer is house-trained and rings a bell to go outside. He has learned to initiate play with other dogs and adapts well to different play styles. He is also very cuddly and enjoys spending time with his foster mom.
