Chance

Chance is a 4-year-old, neutered, and vaccinated Staffie mix with an incredibly gentle and soulful nature. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter after being abandoned, and he carries a wisdom in his eyes that belies his sweet, goofy, and loving demeanor. Chance always seems to wear a big smile and is ready to brighten your day!

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a loving home with a predictable routine. He would do well with a semi-active family that includes older kids (who can handle his playful energy without being knocked over) and another dog his size, or as the beloved only dog soaking up all the attention. Because of his strong prey drive, cats will not be a good fit for Chance.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house-trained and has great house manners. He lets you know when he needs to go out, sleeps through the night, and can stay home alone without issue. He is not a fan of closed crates but is happy to nap in open crates or anywhere comfortable. He is a good walking buddy, but can be a little stubborn when something interesting, like squirrels, catches his attention. The word "cookie" works wonders, and his love of treats makes him a great candidate for continued training.

Transporation

Chance is currently with our rescue partners in Houston, Texas. Transports run every few weeks. Once approved, he will be scheduled for the next available transport.
