Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male, Pit Bull mix who weighs about 60 lbs. He's as sweet as a chocolate chip cookie and is searching for his forever home! Chip is playful, curious, and loving, and is looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people, loves to cuddle, and wants to be your shadow. Chip can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever!
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained, loves to go on sniffing walks (and does well on leash), and enjoys being outdoors. He's also a star in costumes! Chip has done well with calm, submissive doggy siblings who enjoy his playful nature. Slow introductions to other dogs are recommended. He would also do well as an only dog if he gets opportunities for outings. Chip should not live with cats. He can experience anxiety when left alone but is working on it and can be crated. Chip would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and would love to be your adventure buddy on car rides and walks. He does well with older children.
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive in a home where he can be your right-hand man and go on adventures with you. He would do best with calm or submissive doggy siblings and should not live with cats. Chip can experience separation anxiety when left alone, so a family that can help him work through this is ideal.
