George & Gracie

George and Gracie are an adorable bonded pair of 11-year-old Bichons from Sarasota, Florida. Their devoted mom is bravely battling brain cancer and can no longer provide them with the care they deserve, making this a heartbreaking but necessary decision. George and Gracie have been inseparable since birth and will only be adopted together. They truly bring out the best in each other!

George is a sprightly 15.8lb boy who acts much younger than his years. He's happy, active, and endlessly curious. If you have a ball, he's ready to play fetch any time, any day! Gracie, a 15.6lb classy lady, prefers the finer things in life, like curling up in your lap for cuddles and observing her playful brother from a cozy spot while soaking up all the affection. Both pups are spayed and neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. They love all people and have been wonderfully gentle, patient, and affectionate with young children, including their mom's two and four-year-old grandbabies. They also get along well with other dogs, but their experience with cats is unknown.

Ideal Home

A home with a securely fenced yard is a must for George and Gracie. While they adore their walks, a safe outdoor space is essential for their enjoyment.

Ongoing Health

George and Gracie are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered. BFCACT will cover the costs for them to be fully vetted. Gracie may require a dental procedure, which will also be covered.

Training & Support

We are told they are housetrained, but like all dogs adjusting to a new home, they may need a brief refresher. They enjoy their walks and are happy to settle in for quiet time with their humans.
