Chipper

Chipper is a handsome 3.5-year-old, 57 lb Cattle Dog/Terrier mix. He arrived courtesy of Animal Control and is doing wonderfully in his foster home! Chipper enjoys playtime with his foster siblings and loves going on walks. He can be a little skittish and is working on making positive connections with new people, especially men, but his foster dad has really helped him come out of his shell. He is devoted to his foster mom and thrives with the company of other dogs, which helps him feel more confident. Chipper is crate trained and potty trained.

Ideal Home

Chipper would do best in a quiet home with older children (teenage +) who understand he needs time to settle in. He absolutely needs a fenced backyard for zooming and lounging. Having a dog friend around would also be a huge plus for him. He does not particularly care for cats.

Ongoing Health

All core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip are included in the adoption donation.

Training & Support

Chipper is crate trained and potty trained. He is a bit leery of men and is working on his socialization skills with new people, especially outdoors.
