Harriet

Harriet is a delightful 6-year-old lady with a unique blend of Boxer, Boston Terrier, Pug, and American Bulldog in her. She's a lover of all things food, a master of the doggy door, and a true shadow who cherishes being close to her people. Her foster mom describes her as a "lovely little tank of love" and the "most laid back dog" visitors have ever met. Harriet is generally calm and collected, but when mealtime approaches, she transforms into a happy, dancing jackrabbit! She enjoys supervising any activity that keeps her humans nearby, especially from the comfort of her favorite squishy bed, and she's known to relish a good sunbeam. Her groomer gave her a perfect "A+" rating, calling her a "pleasure to groom." Harriet is short, round, and built like a little "Hobbity tank," which her foster family affectionately calls her a "little manatee."

Ideal Home

Harriet is not contained by single gates, so a secure yard is a must. She also prefers meals on a "Hobbit schedule," which means she enjoys four meals a day.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are noted, but she does require 4 meals a day.

Training & Support

Harriet knows how to use the dog door. She happily dances when it's time to eat or when her husband, who she seems to favor, enters the room.
