About Teddy

Teddy is a handsome 4-year-old neutered male Mini Aussie who is looking for his forever home. He's a loyal companion who has lived with kids, cats, and other dogs since he was a puppy. While he's generally a good boy, Teddy does experience some anxiety, particularly with loud noises like thunder, fireworks, and gunfire. He's great with other dogs, but when it comes to mealtime, he needs to be fed separately to avoid any food-related disputes. Teddy was wonderful with the older children in his previous home, but he can be a bit wary of visiting children and some adults, so a home with minimal foot traffic in a more rural setting would be ideal for him. He's a protective boy who loves his people fiercely. His previous owners allowed him to be protective, which has unfortunately led to a few bites over the years, though all were avoidable. Teddy is on the larger side for a mini Aussie at 36 lbs and would truly thrive in a country setting, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Ideal Home

Teddy would do best in a quiet, rural home with very little foot traffic. He needs a home that can provide him with a calm environment and understand his anxieties.
