Rusty

Rusty is a handsome young male dog who has overcome a difficult start to life. He was found with a broken leg at just 8 weeks old and abandoned by his breeders. Thankfully, a rescue organization stepped in and provided him with the care he needed, and as of January 26, 2021, he was medically cleared and did not require an amputation! The veterinarian advises that Rusty needs to maintain a lean physique to avoid stressing his leg.

When you first meet Rusty, he can be a bit shy, but once he gets to know you, he blossoms into a goofy and loving companion. He adores being outdoors, and his favorite activities include digging, rolling in the dirt, and exploring with his nose. Rusty is a big love bug who showers his favorite people with wet kisses and thoroughly enjoys belly rubs. He has so much love to give and is eagerly awaiting his forever family!

Ideal Home

Rusty can be selective with his doggy friends, so a meet-and-greet with any dogs in the home is essential. His ideal home will have experience with the Cane Corso breed and would be best suited for a household with adults 18 and older.
