Rosie

Rosie is a resilient and sweet girl, about 6 years old, who has overcome a great deal and is ready for a calm, loving home. She was rescued in January 2024 from the Bahamas, where she was at risk if returned after a spay and neuter clinic. She was flown to Florida and into a foster home, a decision that changed her future. Rosie was likely used repeatedly for breeding before her rescue. She underwent extensive medical care, including treatment for TVT, from which she recovered and is now cancer-free. She also had a hernia removed and completed heartworm treatment, testing negative since. Rosie was diagnosed with early kidney disease and manages well on a renal diet without medication. She also has arthritis in her back legs, managed with Librela injections, allowing her to remain comfortable, happy, and mobile. Rosie is now healthy, stable, and easygoing, affectionate, gentle, and eager to be a devoted companion. She has been waiting for her forever home since January 2024 and deserves a loving place to spend the rest of her days. Rosie is defined by her resilience, sweetness, and capacity for love, and she's ready for someone to love her back.
