Whoopi - A Sweet Girl Hoping for a Miracle

Whoopi is an unforgettable girl with a heart full of love, despite a tough start. She was found abandoned and alone, but thanks to rescue efforts, she's recovering from heartworm and ready for her happily ever after. Whoopi is a devoted cuddle bug who lives for belly rubs and being close to her people, especially if that means sharing your bed! She has bursts of playful energy but is mostly a calm, easygoing companion. Her charming smile and squishy cheeks are sure to win you over.

Ideal Home

Whoopi would do best in a home without cats. We're still learning about her compatibility with other dogs, as she had one negative interaction. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal as she continues to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Whoopi has been diagnosed with heartworm and is undergoing treatment. She is on her way to a full recovery.

Training & Support

Whoopi is already potty trained and knows "sit." She's a quick learner and respects household rules, only chewing on her designated toys. She has started leash training and is making great progress. She enjoys car rides and is learning to build her confidence.

Transporation

Whoopi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to the mainland to join her forever home or a foster home.
