Alpo, fka Turbo

Alpo, formerly known as Turbo, is a handsome husky mix with a big personality to match his almost 60-pound frame! He's nearing a year old and is ready for his forever home. Alpo was returned to us because he has a tendency to see cats as delicious snacks. However, he's done wonderfully with a 4-year-old human and has two foster sisters (who are older dogs) who he enjoys. He's a strong, playful pup who is still learning his own strength.

Ideal Home

Alpo would do best in a home without cats. He's been great with other big dogs and enjoys the dog park, but he needs to learn to be more careful around smaller dogs.

Ongoing Health

Alpo is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Alpo needs some guidance on leash walking and basic training. He's a smart boy and will likely pick things up quickly with consistent positive reinforcement. He sleeps in his crate at night and while his foster dad is at work, so he's already got some crate training down!
