Rumble

Hi! My name is Rumble, or Rumbly Bumbly Bee as one of our volunteers affectionately calls me! I'm a spirited younger adult dog, thought to be a mix of Rottweiler and Anatolian Shepherd, though I also show some traits of other shepherd breeds or a heeler. I'm an outgoing and intelligent girl who already knows "sit," "down," and can shake with either paw! My current training goals include refining my leash manners, mastering "stay," and learning not to jump when I get excited. I have a lot of energy and love to be active. If you have a fenced yard, I'd happily take on the important job of keeping it safe from squirrels! I can be a little mouthy when excited, which is likely due to my breed mix, but it's all in good fun. I'm convinced I could be a fantastic fetcher if you'd like to teach me, and I'd also make a great hiking or running companion. Oh, and I absolutely adore butt scratches – who doesn't? I seem to get along well with male dogs, having had positive interactions with my kennel neighbors.

Ideal Home

I'd thrive in a home where I can stay busy and active. I would do best without small children or cats, as I can be a bit too exuberant for them.

Training & Support

I'm working on not jumping when excited and improving my leash walking. I can be a bit mouthy when I'm enthusiastic, so gentle redirection will be helpful. I have lots of energy and would benefit from consistent training and activities to keep my mind and body engaged.
