Corky

Corky is a sweet, neutered male pittie mix who will celebrate his 4th birthday in May! He was part of a litter abandoned at city hall in Northeast Texas and, after being adopted as a puppy, found himself back with his foster due to his previous owners' divorce. Despite his rough start, Corky has blossomed into a loving boy who adores his foster mom. He's named for his adorable corkscrew tail and is a smart pup who enjoys learning and working for treats. He loves his walks in his harness and is a true companion.

Ideal Home

Corky would thrive in a home where he can be the only pet, as he is very animal-reactive and does not play well with other animals. He would also do best in a home without small children. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely enjoy his outdoor time.

Corky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. No specific health conditions are noted.

Training & Support

Corky is a smart boy who responds well to treats and enjoys learning. While he loves walks, he may not be suited for a busy dog park due to his animal reactivity. He has never shown aggression towards humans.
