DUNCAN

Duncan is a sweet, approximately 1-year-old boy weighing around 19 pounds. He's a charming mix, with DNA indicating a lot of Chihuahua! Duncan adores his squeaky toys, loves to play, and especially enjoys receiving petting and attention. He's a quiet and well-behaved companion, showing good house training and leash manners, though he could benefit from a bit more training. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home without children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms upon rescue and has completed treatment according to The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically find that dogs test negative for heartworms within 4 to 6 months post-treatment.

Training & Support

Duncan is mostly house-trained and walks well on a leash, but could use a little additional training to refine these skills.
