These two very sweet dogs, Bradley and Leopoldo, have become best friends and constant companions. They recently lost their loving parent due to a decline in his health. Because of their strong bond, we're hoping to find an adopter willing to welcome them both into their home, giving their dad peace of mind.
Bradley is a neutered Pug, approximately 3 years old and 30 lbs. He has a big personality and lots of energy! Bradley loves people and gets excited when visitors arrive. He's playful, social, and enjoys being involved in whatever's happening around him. He loves attention and brings enthusiasm and joy wherever he goes. Bradley is comfortable with a crate and sees it as a safe place to relax when needed.
Leopoldo is a neutered Basset Hound, approximately 4 years old and 40 lbs. He's affectionate, friendly, and enjoys spending time with both people and Bradley. Like many Basset Hounds, he occasionally bays, letting his voice be heard, which is part of his charm! He is playful, gentle, and enjoys following his nose around the yard. Leopoldo is familiar with a crate, although he's a little more cautious about it than Bradley.
Both dogs are extremely people-oriented and will likely greet you with excitement and affection. After their initial greeting, they settle down and often entertain themselves by playing together. They enjoy running around the house and yard, chasing each other, and spending time together. Despite both being male, they get along well and have lived together very successfully. They are good with children, cats, family members, and visitors.
Ideal Home
Bradley and Leopoldo would thrive in a home where they can receive regular companionship and be part of a family's daily life. They would do best with a family that enjoys having affectionate, social dogs as part of their everyday lives. They are loving companions who enjoy people, playtime, and being included in family activities.
Ongoing Health
Both Bradley and Leopoldo are neutered.
Training & Support
Both dogs love riding in the car and enjoy being included in family activities. They can become excited during car rides and would benefit from additional training to help them stay calmer while traveling. Bradley and Leopoldo are accustomed to having access to a doggie door so they can go outside as needed.
