Maddox

Maddox is a delightful 3-year-old, 18lb bundle of energy looking for his forever family! He arrived at Pawfect Match feeling a bit timid, but with love and patience, he's blossoming into a confident companion. Maddox's past includes a hoarding situation and a heartbreaking return to a shelter when his previous owner fell ill. Despite his tough start, Maddox has a playful spirit and loves to engage in chase games, bouncing around like a playful deer! He's even formed a strong bond with Butler, another dog with a similar, quirky playstyle – they'd make a fantastic duo if you're looking to adopt two!

Ideal Home

Maddox needs a home with another dog to help him build confidence. He also requires a securely fenced yard, as he can be easily startled by the outside world and leash walking isn't his favorite activity due to increasing noise and activity. While children can make him nervous outdoors, he's happy to receive their attention when he's inside.

Ongoing Health

Maddox is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Maddox has an exuberant playstyle and may use his paws to get attention, sometimes followed by a playful retreat. He's still learning to navigate his nervousness about the outdoors, so continued positive reinforcement and patience will be key to his success.
