Winter

Winter is a 3-year-old mixed-breed masterpiece with a silky-soft coat and an even softer heart. He greets everyone like an old friend and is happy to join you for a car ride, a polite stroll on leash, or a snuggle session. Winter is a true "velcro dog" who wants to be by your side, no matter what you're doing. He was found as a stray puppy and lived with his loving family for three wonderful years until tragedy struck when his human dad passed away. Due to unforeseen circumstances and housing restrictions, his family was heartbroken to have to rehome him, but their love for him remains. Winter has adjusted beautifully to his foster home, proving himself to be an adaptable and loving companion. He enjoys the company of other animals but would also be happy as an only dog. His only requirement is love!

Ideal Home

Winter would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people. He has lived successfully with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children.

Ongoing Health

Winter is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He is healthy and happy.

Training & Support

Winter is perfectly house-trained. He is a classic velcro dog and eager to be close to his people.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet or the start of your foster-to-adopt trial.
• All adoptions include a 2-week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to ensure the pet is a good fit for your home, and vice versa.
• Winter's adoption fee is $250, due after the foster-to-adopt period.

Transporation

Winter is located in Texas. We offer to-your-door transportation for families outside of Texas.
