Meet Ginger, a sweet, smart, and affectionate girl who is ready to find her forever home. After a rough few months undergoing treatment for heartworm, she is now on the mend and ready for someone to choose her. Ginger is a quick learner and, in her previous home, was crate trained and somewhat housetrained.

Ginger can be nervous around new people and in new situations, so she may need extra support while settling into her new home. With patience and the right person, she is ready to blossom.

Ideal Home

Ginger has lived with dogs and should be good with other dogs. She is not good with cats. Her behavior with children is unknown.
