Meet Abby! This sweet 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix, weighing around 64lbs, is as delightful as her name suggests. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on her monthly preventatives, making her all set to find her forever family. Abby possesses a calm, gentle soul with a fun-loving spirit. She enjoys spending time with her foster sister and greets new dogs with a happy wag and a big smile, showing a great ability to read other dogs' body language. While she can be a bit of a diva at times, she's generally respectful and easygoing, making her a wonderful candidate as an only dog or with a well-matched canine friend. You might even catch her getting the zoomies, a reminder of her playful side!
Ideal Home
Abby would do well as an only dog or with a well-matched canine companion. We recommend a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) as we don't have history with cats or young children.
Ongoing Health
Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on monthly preventatives. She is a professional cuddle bug who believes she's a lap dog despite her size and loves being close to her people. Thunderstorms can be a bit scary for her, and she will seek out a quiet, safe spot until they pass.
Training & Support
Abby is fully potty trained, crate trained, and even puts herself to bed by happily entering her crate. She settles beautifully when crated and left alone. She hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression. She enjoys leisurely walks and handles stairs with ease. While she rides nicely in the car, it's not her favorite activity.
