Avocado Toast, "Cado", is an 11-month-old, 60.5-pound, neutered male mix of Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and Staffordshire Terrier. Cado is a delightfully quirky and affectionate boy who loves to be by your side. When he's happy, he'll find something to carry to you as a way to share his joy, earning him the nickname "Wierdo" from his foster mom. He's a smart and energetic pup who thrives on interaction and playtime. Cado enjoys zoomies, wrestling with his canine companions, and is learning to play fetch. He's also a big fan of cuddles and will happily follow you around, ensuring you never have a moment alone. He can be a little shy with new people and environments but warms up quickly and becomes incredibly devoted to his humans.
Ideal Home
Cado would do best in a home with older children (over 6 years old) who can keep up with his energetic play style. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with well-established, larger canine friends. He also enjoys being the center of attention. He would benefit from a home with a yard to accommodate his zoomies and playful antics. A home where he isn't left alone for long periods would be ideal, as he dislikes being separated from his people.
Ongoing Health
Cado is a healthy, neutered male.
Training & Support
Cado is a chewer and needs access to appropriate chew toys to keep him occupied and out of mischief. He is still learning about house training and may have occasional accidents, especially if his cues to go outside are missed. He is working on basic commands like "Sit," "Down," and "Shake." He can be a bit of a bully with toys towards his littermates and may "counter surf" if bored or left to his own devices. Cado is not fond of his kennel but will settle after a period of protest.
