Dom is a sweet, gentle giant who came to us in mid-December after being found running loose. He's a 2-year-old, mostly Golden Retriever mix, weighing almost 90 lbs, and he's looking to gain a little more weight. Dom is an expressive and social dog with a confident personality. He loves to be involved in his people's daily routines and thrives on interaction. He's curious, enthusiastic, and brings a lot of energy into any space. Dom falls in love quickly and can get a bit lonely when left alone, so he would do best in a home where people are around a lot of the time. He absolutely loves being petted and gets along well with most other dogs, though he's not a fan of dominant males. He enjoys playing with his canine friends Solara and Aurora and walks beautifully on leash. Despite his previous outdoor living situation, he's been a perfect gentleman in his kennel, with no accidents!

Ideal Home

Dom would thrive in a home where his people are around a lot, as he loves interaction and can get a bit sad when left alone.

Ongoing Health

Dom needs to gain about 10 lbs to reach a healthy weight.

Training & Support

Dom walks well on leash and is house-trained. He loves to communicate and is looking for a family that will engage with him.
