Meet Tango, the Tiny Dancer! This handsome 1-year-old Boxer/Pittie mix, weighing about 45 pounds, is the full package of loyalty, playfulness, and pure affection. Tango greets everyone with the most infectious smile and a wagging tail that says "best friends forever!" He's a total goofball who loves to shower his people with kisses and will melt into your lap for cuddles. His foster parent's favorite thing is how he gazes into their eyes, making them feel like the most important person in the world.
Ideal Home
Tango would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention, ideally with a yard for him to romp and play. He'd also love a canine companion of medium energy to share his days with, as he enjoys playing respectfully with other dogs. He would do well with older, dog-savvy children who will adore him as much as he'll adore them. Tango is not a fan of cats.
Ongoing Health
Tango is a healthy boy who has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested and treated for heartworm if needed, and microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Tango is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He walks beautifully on leash and is well-socialized, having successfully mingled with a large group of dogs at daycare and lived harmoniously with four other dogs in his foster home. He knows how to read the room and match energy, playing respectfully and following the rules.

Transporation
Tango is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Adopters can track their pet's journey in real time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
