Addie is a 4.5-year-old, spayed female pitbull terrier mix weighing 45 pounds. She's a sweet and gentle girl who was rescued from a rough life on the streets, where she was underweight and suffering from mange. Now, Addie is learning what it's like to be a cherished house dog and is a very promising student! She's crate trained and sleeps through the night in her crate, and has also been trusted to sleep outside of it without issue. She's still working on her house training and may have occasional accidents as she settles into a new routine.
Ideal Home
Addie would love a home with a yard to explore and enjoy. She would also appreciate a home with couches where she can relax and enjoy her "Soft Life Era." While she might do well with younger children who understand animal behavior cues, she may prefer older, calmer pre-teens and teenagers. She has not been introduced to cats.
Ongoing Health
Addie was treated for mange and is now healthy and ready for her forever home.
Training & Support
Addie is crate trained and generally well-behaved in the house. She is still perfecting her house training and may have occasional accidents. She is very food motivated and will try to eat other pets' food, so she should be fed separately. She is curious about female dogs but has not yet found a playmate she enjoys. She prefers male dog friends of equal or larger size and learns from their cues during playtime.
